We are delighted to welcome Jillian Fenik as the new Executive Director of the Couchiching Ontario Health Team (OHT). Jillian joins us with a wealth of experience and a passion for improving health outcomes in our community.
Jillian is a graduate of the McMaster School of Nursing and holds a Master of Health Management degree. Over the past 25 years, she has made significant contributions to the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit, with a particular focus on managing the Sexual Health and Infectious Diseases Programs. Her leadership has been instrumental in advancing public health initiatives and improving patient care.
Jillian thrives in dynamic, ever-changing environments and brings extensive experience in managing multidisciplinary teams. Her ability to build strong relationships with community partners has enabled her to successfully drive system integration and transformation. As a collaborative partner on multiple Ontario Health Teams, Jillian has demonstrated her ability to strategize and implement innovative solutions that address complex health care challenges.
With a deep understanding of the health care landscape, Jillian is a skilled negotiator, communicator, and influencer. Her expertise in facilitating local change will be invaluable as we continue to work towards our vision of a more integrated and responsive health care system for the Couchiching region.
