Couchiching OHT Hosts Third Annual Caregiver Appreciation Event Today in Orillia

(June 3, 2025 – Orillia, ON) – The Couchiching Ontario Health Team (COHT) is proud to host its Third Annual Caregiver Appreciation Event today, Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at Creative Nomad Studio in Orillia, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Originally scheduled for April 1, the event was postponed due to the ice storm and state of emergency declared in Orillia. Today’s rescheduled gathering continues the COHT’s commitment to recognizing and celebrating the vital role of caregivers in the Couchiching region.

Caregivers attending the event will benefit from presentations on navigating the healthcare system, advanced care planning, and resources from organizations such as Helping Hands and the Ontario Caregiver Organization.

To support participation, Couchiching Health at Home is providing on-site assistance for attendees who may need to bring the individuals they care for, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive experience for all.

This event underscores the Couchiching OHT’s ongoing dedication to supporting caregivers and enhancing the health care experience in the region.
