Meet our Physician Lead!
Meet Dr. Kim McIntosh, our esteemed Primary Care Physician Lead at the Couchiching Ontario Health Team. With over two decades of experience as a comprehensive family physician, Dr. McIntosh has been pivotal in our growth and success. She is highly respected in our community for her dedication and expertise.
Dr. McIntosh has an extensive history of supporting the Couchiching region. She is currently Chief of Staff at OSMH, overseeing the quality of care across various clinical departments, working closely with credentialed staff and hospital leaders.
Dr. McIntosh completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Western Ontario, attended medical school at McMaster University, and completed the Rural Family Medicine Residency Program at the University of Toronto and in Orillia.
We are confident that Dr. McIntosh’s leadership will continue to drive excellence in patient care and collaboration within Couchiching.
Meet our Associate Lead!
Introducing BiQi (Becky) He, our Associate Lead at the Primary Care Network of the Couchiching OHT. With 17 years of experience as an Ontario pharmacist, including 10 years of pharmacy management and ownership in Orillia, BiQi has been a key leader in enhancing patient care and advancing collaborative healthcare initiatives.
BiQi is co-chair of the COHT Pharmacy Network and an active member of the Primary Care Network Leadership Council. Her leadership has been instrumental in COVID-19 response efforts and expanding access to healthcare services vulnerable populations. BiQi is also passionate about fostering teamwork and building interprofessional collaborations.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Toronto and has completed several leadership, professional development and motivational speaking programs. BiQi’s commitment to health equity and patient-centered care continues to make a positive impact in our community.
We are confident that BiQi’s leadership will continue to drive excellence in health strategies and collaborative patient care within Couchiching.
