Family Physician Focus Group Opportunities
Have your say on Clinical Decision Support tools!
Amplify Care is now recruiting for upcoming focus groups to gather actionable insights from clinicians across Ontario on how clinical decision support tools are being utilized, the barriers to their adoption, and opportunities to enhance their practical utility. This input is critical.
If you are interested in joining a 1-hour focus group, contact Amplify Care at communications@amplifycare.com. Your time will be compensated.
ONTARIO COLLEGE OF FAMILY PHYSICIANS (OCFP)
Family Physician Focus Groups
Ontario College of Family Physicians is now recruiting for upcoming focus groups to hear from family physicians about the need for a centralized referral system. They want to hear directly from family physicians about the challenges you face when making specialist referrals, and how these issues affect your patients’ care. This input from members is shaping their feedback to government partners and their advocacy priorities broadly.
If you are interested in joining a 1-hour focus group, contact Jay Scull, Manager, Communications at jscull@ocfp.on.ca. Participation will be compensated.
Examining Internationally Trained Family Physicians’ Return of Service Experiences
Are you an internationally trained Family Medicine graduate of an Ontario medical school residency program in the last 10 years? Have you completed your return of service agreement? What factors have influenced how, where and why you practice?
Participants will complete a one-on-one interview (approximately 45 minutes) where you will be asked to share your personal experience after completing a Return of Service Agreement in Ontario. Your insights will contribute to a better understanding of the impact of Return of Service Agreements and how they influence the careers of family physicians. Participants will be compensated for their time.
You may be eligible if you:
1. Completed medical school or residency training outside of Canada
2. Are currently living in Ontario
3. Have completed Return of Service Agreement in Ontario within the last 10 years
Please contact apetrel4@uwo.ca to participate in “Examining Internationally Trained Family Physicians’ Return of Service Experiences” (note: e-mail is not a secure method of communication).
PI: Dr. Judith Belle Brown, Professor, Centre for Studies in Family Medicine, Western University.
